WordPress Courses and Training in Salzburg: An Overview of Providers

I offer WordPress training myself, exclusively online via video. WordPress courses in Salzburg: an overview of the providers

1. BFI Salzburg

BFI offers multi-day WordPress training as a group course. You will find costs, duration and dates on the website of BFI Salzburg. Tip: check in advance whether you are eligible for funding. That is real money.

2. WIFI Salzburg

WIFI also has WordPress courses for beginners in its programme, likewise as group courses with a certificate. You can see the current offer, prices and dates directly at WIFI Salzburg. The same applies here: check funding in advance.

3. NobleProg

NobleProg is an international training provider with live training online or on site. The courses are more expensive, but in return there is content for advanced users, for example for web developers and WordPress administrators. More at NobleProg.

4. Remote training with me

I am in Zell am See, you are in Salzburg, and we both save ourselves the journey. The training takes place via video on your own website. One-to-one lessons from your office or from home. More on that below.

How to find the right course

The providers differ mainly in format. These criteria will help you decide:

In person or remote: Some people learn better in a seminar room. Others are glad not to have to drive into town and look for a parking space. Decide according to how you learn, not according to what is on offer.

Group or 1:1: A group course follows the syllabus and the pace of the group. In a 1:1 you decide what it is about. That costs more per hour, but usually takes fewer hours.

Content: Courses usually work on a sample installation. Many of my clients attended a course beforehand and found that everything is different on their own site.

When a course in Salzburg is the better fit

I will honestly recommend BFI or WIFI if:

• you are looking for a structured course with a certificate.
• you can use funding that applies to these providers.
• you are starting from scratch and prefer to learn together with others.
• you definitely want in-person lessons.

If, on the other hand, it is about your specific website and your specific questions, I am the better alternative.

What to clarify before booking

Whichever provider you choose: a few minutes of preparation will save you money and time.

• Your goal: Do you want to build a new website, maintain an existing one or run a shop? A beginners’ course will not help much with a shop.
• Your system: Which theme and which page builder is your site built with? Ask whether the course works with exactly that.
• Your time: Two full course days are hard for many freelancers to fit in. Shorter sessions spread over several weeks often stick better.
• Afterwards: Who do you ask if something does not work after the course? Clarify that before you book.

My remote training for Salzburg
