On some pages of this website I use partner links, also known as affiliate links. So that you know where you stand, here is an open explanation of how this works and what it means for you.
What a partner link is
A partner link is a link to a provider that contains an identifier. If you buy a product after clicking it, I receive a commission from the provider. This causes no additional cost for you — the price is the same as if you had visited the provider directly.
Which partner programmes I use
I currently take part in the partner programme of Elementor (Elementor Ltd., Israel), which is operated via the PartnerStack platform. You can recognise Elementor partner links by the target address be.elementor.com.
How I choose recommendations
I only recommend tools I use myself in projects and training. A commission is never the reason for a recommendation and does not change my assessment: where a product has weaknesses, I say so even when I earn from it. If a free tool is the better choice for your situation, I name the free tool.
Labelling
Every article containing partner links carries a visible advertising disclosure above the text — that is, before you can click such a link. In addition, all partner links are technically marked with rel="sponsored". This fulfils the labelling obligations under the Austrian UWG and § 6 of the E-Commerce Act (ECG).
Data protection
When you click a partner link you leave this website. The provider may set a cookie in order to attribute the purchase to my identifier. This processing only happens after your click and under the responsibility of the respective provider. As long as you do not click a partner link, no data is transmitted for this purpose. privacy policy.
