Brizy set out with a clear promise: to be the simplest page builder for WordPress. Fewer settings, fewer menus, fewer ways to get something wrong.
That is a legitimate goal, and Brizy delivers on it better than most. Whether it is the right tool for you depends on whether you will be happy with fewer options — or whether you will hit the limit in six months.
The short answer
Brizy, if you are building a manageable site, feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of settings in Elementor, and want to reach a decent result quickly.
Elementor, if the site is meant to grow, if you need German-language help, or if it is foreseeable that somebody else will work on it.
The difference: deliberate restriction
Brizy's approach is to take decisions off your hands. Where Elementor offers you four input fields and three views for a spacing, Brizy gives you one slider.
That has a real advantage: you make progress faster and build less nonsense. Many overloaded Elementor sites come about precisely because so much is possible.
But it also has a downside, and it only shows up later: if you need something specific that Brizy has not provided for, there is no way around it.

Where Brizy scores
Getting started really is easier. That is not marketing. Someone who has never built a website gets to something presentable faster in Brizy than in Elementor — simply because less is in the way.
The templates look good. Brizy's collection is tidier and more modern in design terms than much of what Elementor ships. Anyone taking a template and only swapping the text often gets the better result with Brizy.
The editor is pleasantly quick. Fewer features also mean less that has to load in the background.
There is a cloud variant. Brizy also exists as a standalone platform outside WordPress. If you ever want to work without WordPress, that is a route — with the same dependencies any platform brings.
Where Elementor scores
The feature range. As soon as you need something beyond the standard — dynamic content, a special archive layout, a WooCommerce product page to your own specification, a connection to a field system — Elementor is there and Brizy is not.
The ecosystem. For Elementor there are extensions, templates and integrations for practically every purpose. For Brizy there are hardly any. If your newsletter service, your booking system or your CRM needs an integration, the odds are many times better with Elementor.
German-language help. For every step in Elementor there is a German tutorial, a video, a forum. For Brizy practically nothing. In a tool aimed at beginners that is a curious contradiction — beginners are precisely the ones who need instructions.
Succession. If in two years you need someone to take over your site: almost any WordPress service provider can do Elementor. Brizy hardly anyone.

The argument that tips the scales against Brizy
I rarely advise against a tool on principle; here I come closest to it — and the reason is not technical.
Brizy is a niche product with a small user base. That means little material to read up on, few specialists, few extensions, and a vendor with a considerably smaller cushion than the competition.
For a weekend project that does not matter. For the website through which your business receives enquiries, it is a risk with no corresponding advantage to set against it. Because the advantage — easier handling — loses importance after the first few weeks. After that what counts is what the tool can do and who can help you with it.
If you find Elementor too complicated
That is an entirely legitimate objection, and it deserves a better answer than "take Brizy".
Usually it is not Elementor itself but the fact that nobody has shown you the basics. Three things take the sense of being overwhelmed away from most people:

- Do not install widget packs. Most of the perceived complexity in Elementor comes from extensions, not from Elementor.
Anyone who takes that to heart rarely finds Elementor complicated any more.
My recommendation by situation
Brizy, if you are building a small, manageable site, if you want to handle the project alone and in a short time, if you get on with English-language material, and if no extensions are foreseeable.
Elementor, in almost every other case — above all when the site matters commercially.

Brizy solves a real problem — that page builders can overwhelm. But it solves it by taking options away, and that comes back to bite once the site has to do more.
If Elementor overwhelms you, the better route is usually to learn the three basics above rather than to change the tool.
